The Scream from Nature is an eco art project which aims to raise consciousness about the relationship between humans and nature. The project is a contemporary interpretation of Munch’s masterpiece the Scream, in which the iconic face is recreated outdoors in nature with a variety of materials.

Every milk bottle the pupils in Norway get for lunch every day at school, has a plastic lid. Earlier, these milk bottles came without the plastic lids. To illustrate the extra amount of plastic created due to this change, pupils collected lids from the lunch break. A Scream from Nature was made with some of the lids. NRK Radio P2 and Ekko journalist Hege Haug-Omre documented the event.
