The project is a contemporary interpretation of Munch\u2019s masterpiece <i>the<\/i> <i>Scream<\/i>, in which the iconic anxiety-ridden face is recreated outdoors in nature, with a variety of materials.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/96198084\" target=\"_blank\">See a 3 minutes video about the project here &gt;&gt;&gt;<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Munch wrote several texts about the Scream motif, the most poignant among these being: &#8220;I felt a huge unending scream course through nature&#8221;.\u00a0Now, over 100 years later, we hear another \u201dscream\u201d from nature: droughts, forest fires, floods, earth slides, extreme weather, melting glaciers, rising ocean levels and mass-extinction of animal and plant species are just some of the challenges the world faces today.<\/p>\n<p>Still, the project invites to positive thinking, focusing on what each and every one of us can contribute with: Like recycling, sustainable consumption &#8211; and making <i>Screams<\/i><i> from Nature <\/i>to create awareness.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I was walking along the road with two friends. The sun was setting. Suddenly the sky turned blood red and I felt a huge unending scream course through nature<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><em>Edvard Munch&#8217;s writings about the Scream, translation of the painted text above<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Initiated by Norwegian artist <a href=\"http:\/\/lisewulff.com\" target=\"_blank\">Lise Wulff<\/a>,\u00a0<i>the<\/i>\u00a0<i>Scream<\/i><i>\u00a0from Nature\u00a0<\/i>is developed in collaboration with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.purecsr.no\" target=\"_blank\">Pure CSR<\/a>,\u00a0the environment\u00a0NGO <a href=\"http:\/\/bellona.no\" target=\"_blank\">Bellona<\/a>, Serbian artist <a href=\"http:\/\/branislavnikolic.net\" target=\"_blank\">Branislav Nikolic<\/a>, and with PanStudios as a digital media-partner.
