The\u00a0<\/i>Scream<\/i>\u00a0from Nature\u00a0<\/i>is an eco art project which aims to raise consciousness about the relationship between humans and nature. The project is a contemporary interpretation of Munch\u2019s masterpiece\u00a0the<\/i>\u00a0Scream<\/i>, in which the iconic anxiety-ridden face is recreated outdoors in nature, with a variety of materials.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Munch wrote several texts about the Scream motif, the most poignant among these being: “I felt a huge unending scream course through nature”.\u00a0Now, over 100 years later, we hear another \u201dscream\u201d from nature: droughts, forest fires, floods, earth slides, extreme weather, melting glaciers, rising ocean levels and mass-extinction of animal and plant species are just some of the challenges the world faces today.<\/p>\n

Still, the project invites to positive thinking, focusing on what each and every one of us can contribute with: Like recycling, sustainable consumption – and making\u00a0Screams<\/i>\u00a0from Nature\u00a0<\/i>to create awareness.<\/p>\n

Initiated by Norwegian artist\u00a0Lise Wulff<\/a>,\u00a0the<\/i>\u00a0Scream<\/i>\u00a0from Nature\u00a0<\/i>is developed in collaboration with\u00a0Pure CSR<\/a>,\u00a0the environment\u00a0NGO\u00a0Bellona<\/a>, Serbian artist\u00a0Branislav Nikolic<\/a>, and with Molte\u00a0as a digital media-partner. The project was included in\u00a0the official celebration of Edvard Munch\u2019s 150th anniversary (Munch150) in 2013, and collaborates with the\u00a0United Nations Environment Programme<\/a>.<\/p>\n

All over the world, hundreds of\u00a0Screams<\/em>\u00a0have been made, and thousands of people have participated.<\/p>\n
